SokoWise lists M-PESA collection and payout options separately. Collections take customer payments, while payouts send funds from your business. The fields and test steps shown in the integration form are the current source for your account.
Get your provider details
Use your business's approved Safaricom Daraja account and the credentials for the service you are configuring. If you still need an account or production access, follow Safaricom's current instructions in the Daraja developer portal. Do not send API secrets or security credentials to SokoWise support.
Configure M-PESA in SokoWise
- Open Business → Integrations or Sell Online → Integrations for the area where you will accept payments.
- Find the M-PESA collection or payout option and open its setup form.
- Enter the values requested by the form. Collection and payout setup may ask for different details.
- Save the configuration and complete the review or test step shown.
- Confirm the status in the integration list before using the provider with customers.
For a customer payment, open the related sale or order and check its payment status. For a payout, open its payout record and check the latest status. A saved credential or successful configuration check does not mean a customer payment or payout has completed.
