Create a quote or invoice

Prepare a customer document, convert an accepted quote, and follow the linked sale status.

Create quotes and invoices from Finance. Add a customer, line items, and the details requested by the form. SokoWise calculates totals from the saved prices, options, discounts, and taxes.

Prepare a quote

  1. Open Finance → Quotes and choose the add action.
  2. Select a customer and add products or services.
  3. Review quantities, dates, payment details, taxes, discounts, and notes.
  4. Save the quote and share the document from its details.
  5. Use the status action shown when the customer responds.

Accepting a quote creates one linked draft invoice. The quote remains as the record of the estimate; it does not create a sale or adjust stock.

Prepare and post an invoice

  1. Open Finance → Invoices and choose the add action, or open the invoice created from an accepted quote.
  2. Review the customer, line items, dates, payment terms, taxes, discounts, and notes.
  3. Save and share the invoice.
  4. When it is ready to post, use the invoice status action shown by SokoWise.

Accepting an invoice posts one linked sale and records its inventory effects. Invoiced means the invoice was posted; it does not mean the customer has paid. Open the linked sale or payment record to check payment activity. Do not create another sale for the same invoice.
